OCTOBER is here! We couldn’t wait to get our Chewy box this month, as we ordered some pretty spooky items! Check it out and see what our cats say about Tiki Cat After Dark.

What’s in the box?

I decided since my cats at home had plenty enough canned cat food for themselves, that I wanted to see how our rescue cats at work felt about Tiki Cat After Dark.

It’s grain free canned food. My ragdoll has stomache issues so he can’t have anything with grain in it or he’ll throw it up (except wet food).

However, he didn’t get a taste of this. He has enough at home all to himself!

My cats mainly like pate type canned food, so I’m glad I gave this a try for our rescue cats. It was a lot runnier than I had imagined. But our rescues didn’t care!

The rescues kitties that loved this the most would have been our little kittens who still need nourishments and protien to be healthy.

Usually in the morning we give each rescue cat a spoonful of canned food as a little “treat”.

I think the one they liked the most would have been the chicken and pork. The guy below will pretty much eat anything you set in front of him when it comes to canned food.

His appetite never hinders! Sometimes I wonder where he puts it all.

All in all our expectations were once again met by Chewy! This wonderful product can be found here for an amazing price of $19.33 for 12 cans of awesomness!

Looks like the rescue kitty gives it 4 paws! I like the design on the packaging as well. Very cute and not too bad on pricing either.

We received this to sample this month. I was a little surprised how much liquid was in the cans. Don’t get me wrong – my cats need the liquid, but I wonder if there should be a little more meat. We’re trying out the flavors now.

It does look pretty runny, but I think it would be perfect for kittens transitioning to real food. I think grain free food is probably the best for cats.
